In an interview following the successful event in Minna, Dr. (Mrs.) S.H Waziri, the President of the Women Wing of NAEGE (WNAEGE), who oversaw activities at the Alpha location, expressed her satisfaction with the program’s impact. "I am incredibly pleased with the turnout and the enthusiastic response from the schools. This initiative has the potential to rekindle a passion for geoscience in our young generation," she remarked. She further extended her gratitude to all the other WNAEGE chapters for their dedication in making the program a success in their respective zones.
The Geoscience Awareness Program reflects NAEGE’s commitment to fostering educational growth and promoting science among the youth. By instilling an early interest in geoscience, NAEGE aims to cultivate future scientists who will contribute to the advancement of this vital field.
